Program Title: Panel Discussion on the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)
Description: The Global World Order justifies more and more a global policing of the population. The work of intelligence agencies, such as the CIA and CSIS, are more and more globally integrated to fight against any radical opposition to their world of environmental and human disasters. They target mobilizations against international events such as this year's Winter Olympics, in Vancouver, and the upcoming G8 / G20 meetings, in Ontario, to intimidate and harass us, gather information to incriminate us and ultimately repress radical individuals and social movements. In that context, we, the CKUT community news collective, will present a special hour of Off The Hour about CSIS, their work, how we can protect ourselves and our struggles, and we will also ask what the increasing presence CSIS means in our lives...
