Halifax Is Burning is dedicated to promoting the best emerging music from the Atlantic region, with a heavy focus on the Nova Scotian music scene.

The show was named the East Coast Music Association's Media Outlet of the Year in 2017, and Music Nova Scotia's Radio Program of the Year in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Halifax is Burning airs live on CKDU 88.1FM every Tuesday night from 6:30pm-7:30pm, and is available on demand at www.halifaxisburning.com
