Description: This week on "Routes & Branches & Beyond" we continue to ramble through this April, a month that (joyfully) contains all four seasons within it this year! Just to keep my celtic certification, I start with some Irish session tunes and a trooper and the maid song, then on to foggy love, bluegrassifying a Cyndi Lauper classic, a gentle gale of Greenlandic music, ruthlessly ancient groove, aboriginal funk fusion from down under, Inuktitut roots music and a Cat Stevens re-telling. Artists include Brian Crozier, Blue Mule, Olivia Chaney, Angu, Rasmus Lyberth, Sheesham Lotus & 'Son, Xavier Rudd & Izintaba, Nive Nielsen & the Deer Children, the Jerry Cans, Jody Hale and new music from young American folk-bluegrass luminary Molly Tuttle and her pandemic shelter-at-home project (apparently, some among us didn't just sit on the couch for a year...).
